Our New Book

 Our new book is now available on the AuthorHouse Website!  It explains why God created the heaven and the earth and what He had in mind for us from the beginning.  I can always understand something better when I can picture it in my mind.  Our prayer is that this book will give you the picture you need to help you understand His plan for you a little better.  You can find out more at the above link.
When you purchase a copy of this book, every penny above the cost of printing goes directly to the ministry of Teen Challenge!  A few years ago Deb and I nearly lost our son Daniel to drug addiction.  God used Teen Challenge to save him from a sure death and changed his whole life!  We have dedicated this book to them in thanksgiving to the Lord.  God is so good!  There is written also a written testimony of this in the book.  If you purchase your copy online from the AuthorHouse site, Teen Challenge receives more money than if you buy it from other online sources.  However, you can use Amazon or Barnes and Noble if you prefer.

Foreword
I am excited about this book!  It is the testimony of a very grateful family for all who are searching for the truth.  The “meat” of the book helps each of us better understand the living word of God and what it can personally mean to us.  It was born out of loving prayer and heartache for a son, Daniel, who was lost in the drug world sitting in a jail cell in Mississippi seemingly without hope.  His parents and grandmother in prayer never gave up.  God used a former baseball coach and a graduate of our program to share the hope of a ministry called “Teen Challenge”.  Teen Challenge takes in hundreds of youth and adults, male and female each year that are hopelessly addicted to life controlling issues.
 I remember when Daniel came into TC of TX.  He had no idea what would happen, if anything, when he said, "yes."  Within 24hrs he was on a plane headed to TC.  He came in late at night, was checked in and given a bed.  Though it was difficult he stuck it out, graduated and is now on staff. He is now married and working full time in the ministry God used to give him a second chance at life.  Daniel not only has his life back , his experience has affected his whole family drawing them all to a deeper walk with the Lord.
 Daniel is just one of many who came searching and found meaning and purpose for living.  Many have tried different programs and self help solutions, but to no avail.  Only through the cross and the soul cleansing blood of the lamb (Jesus Christ) can there be any meaning and purpose to life because that is what we were made for, to have a personal relationship, to love and be loved by our creator.
 It is my hope that through this book many will find their way to the foot of the cross and surrender their lives to Jesus and make Him their "Lord and Savior," and become part of the family of God.
